6th Grade Bears

The Bears Team strives to transition sixth graders to a middle school setting, to assist their growth in becoming independent life-long learners, and to develop the study skills and knowledge needed in school and beyond. We establish a positive, caring learning environment while challenging each student to do his or her best. The Bears teachers make learning motivational and enjoyable, yet academically appropriate and challenging. To build a sense of team identity, we engage in an assortment of Bears team gatherings, study skills activities, activity-based field trips, and special team programs.
