Health Curriculum

Each year students will be removed from Physical Education class for six weeks of Health Class. The following units of study will be taught:

6th grade

• Substance Abuse
   

7th grade

• Personal Safety
• First Aid
• Healthy Relationships
• Sexuality Education
• Abstinence/Contraception
   

8th grade

• Body Systems
• Cardiovascular
• Respiratory
• Muscular
• Skeletal
• Nervous & Leading Causes of Death/Substance Abuse
